Gamebase Action Max - A Steady Aim is Critical !

Here's a Gamebase for the Worlds of Wonder Action Max console, Uses a modified version of Daphne to emulate the console.

One slight difference to your usual Gamebase set up, is that you choose each game as it's own emulator & use .bat instead of .exe

eg.
Select the GEMUS Tab
Select the Emulator/Game (for illustration purposes Sonic Fury)
Go to Emulator Path/Filename & click browse
Bottom right of the new window change emulators (.exe) to Batch Files (.bat)
Select Sonic Fury
Select OK.

Repeat for the next four games.

Gamebases' key values are automatically set so the correct game will load when selected.

Otherwise it's your usual Gamebase Set-up - Be aware it's a big download 3.44GB!!

The torrent shows no seeders (dead). Are you currently trying to seed? After uploading, did you redownload the torrent file and use that to seed? (You should have)

I have downloaded my torrent, so lord knows why it's not seeding but i'm a complete noob when it comes to uploading torrents so the outcome came as no surprise

First I was getting this error when I run a game...

Loading 'saveme.wav' failed...
ERROR: one or more required sound sample files could not be loaded!
Sound initialization failed!
Shutting down video display...

But I pulled it from my other Daphne install. So now it gets as far as parsing the video file....and crashes every time...

Anyone have any advise?

Really daft but this works for me, don't press space to parse just press a normal letter and seems to work fine

i had never heard of this machine before you mentioned it.
that was a good find.

maybe a Daphne Gamebase is possible.

Hello! I am trying to download the database from rapidshare as stated above but get this message:

This file is neither allocated to a Premium Account, or a Collector's Account, and can therefore only be downloaded 10 times.

This limit is reached.

To download this file, the uploader either needs to transfer this file into his/her Collector's Account, or upload the file again. The file can later be moved to a Collector's Account. The uploader just needs to click the delete link of the file to get further information.

I found the games on pleasuredome and i am downloading them... Is it possible to post a re-upload link for the gamebase?

Can someone possibly explain how can i create the bat files for use as emulators?i downloaded from the website singe with action max example and the last edition of daphne ( though the singe website states that you need a working build that supports singe?). Also i downloaded the action max games pack from pleasuredome and the database doesn't recognise them, sould i mannually rename them or there is a datfile i can use with romcenter? Sorry for the many questions!!! I would really like to get this gamebase working!

srnickolas: I had several problems with this one too. If You can, just download package created by me:
it's complete, configured package - all necessary files except movies, which You downloaded from PLEASUREDOME

In my package I used compatible paths, in PATHS.INI and EMULATORS.INI, like example ".\Action Max\Emulator & Games\38AmbushAlley.bat". It means You probably don't have to configure anything, just click on game to run.

Don't forget to put "movies" to directory with other .m2v files first
