NEC PC-FX GAMEBASE

Mon Mar 22, 2010 11:10 pm

I find in UG the GameBase for NEC PC-FX, it looks great.

I´m trying to use MagicEngine FX, but i don´t know how to make the GEMUS script for it.

Please, I need help. Thanks

as far as i can work out. :?

MagicEngineFX does NOT play .ISO, .Bin, .Cue files as a standard option.

you can mount your ISO with Daemon Tools or any other Fake CD program first. Then start Magic Engine FX to run the game image.

but making a script to do that from Gamebase.
won't be easy.

you could try making a batch file for every game.
using command line options for Daemons.

but i would be easier just use Mednafen 0.8.C

Not too sure of the ease of use of Otake but it's a fine free emulator.

I'm trying to get Mednafen to work from gamebase for my TG 16 CD gamebase and I've had no luck so far.. i'm running Win 7 64 bit.

I also have Magic Engine but you count mount the cds directly with it so it's useless for this project. Any ideas on how to do this? I'm new to the whole Mednafen emulator. I would also be interested in working on FX gamebase if I could use mednafen for it as you've suggested

Ootake is for the NEC PCengine CD, not the PC-FX, two different generations of consoles.

Aside from Mednafen and Magicengine FX, XE also has some support for it.
