There seems to be a problem with the database, Gamebase is crashing when I select the game "Sands Fire", probably needs re-indexing.

there is some damage to mdb files.
i removed the game

Still crashing, now on "Scruffy". Looks like you need to do a new build unless someone knows how to fix it.Seiya wrote:don't work re-indexing..

Sorry but 'I have no idea why.
unless that is if it was a coding problem of screenshots added.
but I must say I am not an expert on gamebase, it is only an idea

hello
gamebase is not the problem but the file system of windows runtime msvcrt.dll using by windows explorer.
many windows system suffer from this problem.
I think will be difficult to resolve.

This version doesn't crash for me.
Re-created the mdb using the updated fixed version with sands of fire removed.
and the previous update 5 version.
deleted all times played and file available markers.
fixed errors and compacted.
Converted all the "S" screens to same file format.
even though the originals worked for me.

i tried and i have no problems with screenshot.
only sands of fire screenshot crashed.
however, i put again the game and use default screenshot.
for now i have to suspend for some days,,

maybe i understand where is the problem.
i use clip2net to make screenshot and now after adding a screenshot, gamebase crashed..
i will use only screenshot included with games..or try other solutions
