Hmmm. Is Part1 really supposed to have an .exe extention?
I have a lot of respect for Gamebase creators, maintainers & supporters.

It's SFX archive, like all of my uploads, to make it more convenient to user. It also shows information to user, who is uploader of it - to prevent f**k'n leechers take credits for not their upload.

i do not have that pack, so not sure how the files are archived.

The WHDLoad path should be in the EXTRAS path.

example
c:\gamebase\amiga\extras\whdload\

and GameBase paths.ini set to the Extras path, not \WHDLoad\..
1=c:\GameBase\Amiga\Extras\

all the WHDLoad should be in ZIP format (not LHA).
and be in A-Z sub folders.

example
Extras\WHDLoad\a\A10TankKiller_v2.0_2Disk_1396.zip

inside the ZIP the archive you should have folder and file...
A10TankKiller2Disk\A10TankKiller2Disk.Slave

the KGWHD is the main set, with RETROPLAY updates (some are LHA).
*download the LHA-ZIP converted pack i uploaded on the previous pages, if you are missing any.

you do not need the install packs, they are already installed and ready to play.

thanks a lot, mate.

the 0-z folders did the trick, now it is only 16 games (mad pack) & 105 whd extras (dax pack) missing (although i have much more whdload games present than missing).

is there a whd dat avaiable so to sort out needless zips?

no DAT file, as every time you zip a cluster of files you will get a different crc32.

This batch file will move all the currently used GameBase WHDLoad filenames to a temp folder.

Rename the file extension .txt file to .bat.

A true
'Every time you zip files you will get SAME crc32'

Everytime in PC world = .mad has wrong

Yes, that true, but, converting is a hell

Think he meaning converting files.

And .mad has right !!

Amiga files (LHA) can't directly be converted to another format, most of them,
are conflicted, because names, empty folders, forbidden characters , which are normal in Amiga enviroment

How many there are I don't know.

Why nobody wants to upload complete, preconfigured package GB Amiga 2.0 with all necesary files ? Some ppl still have hope for this. Including myself. Is this really so hard ?

Think about pros:
- one standard
- easy to update by anyone
- no more waste of time to analyze problems/solutions

Come on, ppl!

The thing is, has Belgarath had a say on this new edited database that .mad. has released ?, it was his work originally. If Belgarath is adding new ADF games and correcting ones that didn't work properly etc. his database file is going to be completely different to this one.

waiting the new Belgarath 2.0 Gamebase Amiga, someone could put online a 1.6.1, for example, with games that for now are only empty entries (alreay pre-configured)

i slowly adding all these entries with adf and sps files
but there are so many files to add and some entries are impossibile to find.

Seiya: It has no sense to update v1.6 - waste of time. Better to wait if anyone uploads 2.0 then update :)
