GameBase64 v3 Game Screenshots

By what method were the screenshots in GameBase64 v3 for the games taken? By what C64 emulator? And in what file-format were the screenshots saved in (before conversion to .GIF, of course)?

Most of them were created with shortcut ALT+F1 in CCS64.

I wanted to know because I noticed that the 1984 Atarisoft version of
Mario Bros. didn't have a title-screen screenshot. So I made one with the same method that the other screenshots were made, the method you told me above.
So here it is:
Just name it 'Mario_Bros_1' and put it in the appropriate screenshot fldr. Then use GameBase's screenshot selector to point the game entry to this pic. Hehehehe

Fort Apocalypse
Gremlins
Monopole CBM-64
Montezuma's Revenge
and
Spelunker
I tried to make more, but hit a stop with trying to make one for
Monty Mole. Maybe I'll make some more hehehehe
