Setting Picture path causes crash?

Sun Jun 27, 2010 9:48 pm

Hey everyone. I've run into a little problem setting up a new GB set.
Whenever I add the Path for Pictures, GameBase freezes and then crashes. If I try to open that set again, GB crashes. The only way to fix it is to open Paths.ini and delete the Pictures path.

Everything else works fine. I can add games, emulators, etc. with no problems.

Now, a friend gave me two pre-made game sets and they work fine. They even work when I change the default path for Pictures. I just can't figure out why it crashes when I add the Pictures path in a new set...

I'm using GameBase v1.2 on Windows 7 x64. Any help is appreciated. :)

i think you need to update to gamebase v1.3

There is a bug in Gamebase v1.2
where if a picture filename has too many characters it freezes gamebase.
that could be your problem. :?
