thanks

i have had a look at this today.
and it does indeed have 7100 entries
using the verify option. (against the Easter Eggs)
all the games are available apart from 10.

alas all the c64 data is still in this version.
so i think i will just carry on with my own version.

i will upload the 7100 fixed MDB, if the demand is out there??
(this will still need all the downloads posted here)

there is no question, people will need the "greatest out there"

btw, "all c64 data" is a bit extreme statement :)
"all c64 data" are many times more than this collection
(even just games)

Here is a very small example of what i ment by
"all the C64 data"

GA_Id
559 Cover\Gutz.jpg - 2 PLAYER SOCCER SQUAD (+CARGA)

581 gazette!\1985\03mar\mar85-HeatSeekerA.jpg - 3D PSION CHESS

2340 Tapes\h\HATE.zip - 4 SOCCER 3 (128K)

Name Filename FileToRun
3391 1943 1943.Z80 HAMMERF0.D64

so even though i do appreciate all the time and effort that has gone into creating the GBZX.
thanks Hillel. :)
i think these bits of the MDB file, deserved removing.

The so called "fixed" version of Hillel's. i uploaded (above post)
with the Easter Eggs packs (6219 entries).
is still the best and only version to go for at the moment.
as on closer inspection.
The 7100 version may have more entries,
but they are made up of demos and utils and has key games missing.

i am not criticising anyone here!
like you i just want to have the best possible version.

if anyone still wants to HELP me create a WOS Gamebase.
that might come a bit closer to the C64 one.
please get intouch.

hi .mad.

That WOS gamebase you have with 10,000+ entries. Are you ever planning on releasing it. Just wondering as it looks so great.

Many Thanks.

release date

Hi Stan,

Well the idea is to release it soon.
But with no firm help on offer,
it is nowhere near as complete as i would like for a first beta release.
approx 500 games still need linking with screen shots.
before i would even consider it.

so far it does not include any extras whatsoever.

then comes the dilemma of uploading all those games.
or just release the Gamebase MDB file with screenshots.
And then let everyone bombard the WOS website for 200 files at a time.

or maybe a torrent is the way to go. :?
