I have office 2003/07, and OpenOffice.org. None of them allow for adding tables. Office says the database was made with and earlier version (2000 I presume?).
How can you edit the mdb with newer versions? If you can't then what version is the one GB uses?
Thanks.

There are some notes on Access databases here:

Basically, the current version of GameBase is compatible with Access 97 and 2000 databases. (For instance, GB64 is in Access 97 format, and the C264 database is in Access 2000 format.)
I'm not sure whether you can use Access 2003 to modify the design of an Access 2000 database. However, bear in mind that the program won't know about the new tables you create; are these just for your own personal use? Maybe you'd be better off putting that information into a separate database, so that you don't have to move it around when the next version of the main database is released?
