I downloaded a Bally Astrocade gamebase some time ago from here, but every time I run the supplied emulator, it says Astro.bin not found and sometimes bioswhit.bin, despite the file actually BEING in the bios folder under astrocde.zip and astrocdw.zip respectively
So why don't they work if the files are actually in the BIOS directory

Re: Does anyone have a working Bally Astrocade Gamebase
This is why I freakin' hate MESS as an emulator...
Device Cartslot load (Artillery Duel (1982)(Bally).zip) failed: file not found
Despite the fact that the file is in my damn roms directory. I even copied and pasted it directly from the rom directory and pasted into the roms directroy directly in the mess roms directory folder, and the games will still not run..
And why does it automatically search for that particular rom anyway?

Figured it out now, however, I still hate the lack of user-friendliness of MESS. Wish there were more stand alone emulators for lesser known systems like this.
