forgot the orders

Hi all
its many years ago i playd 64 but now i found some pages with c64 games and an emulator but i forgot how to start the games Load "$" ?????
pls help

First you have to type POKE1,51

well, you either use the menus from the emulators, or you load the directory with load"$",8 <return>, list <return> and then load"gamename",8,1<return>, run<return>.

Yes, as The Grue said, but it really is easier to use the emulator menus. Use the Alt+8 key combo to get the disk drive menu (or Alt+t for tapes in VICE)
