I have no problem with someone posting my gamebases on file sharing sites, i would be happy for them to be spread.

I use a bit different name system, not project name, but name of machine, so differencies are:

1. Original name "AmstradMania_V3" - renamed folder and .MDB file in my resources to "Amstrad CPC" (the version I've upped)

2. I use short paths, instead of full paths - examples from "paths.ini":
Quote:

[Games]
1=.\Amstrad CPC\Games
2=
[Pictures]
1=.\Amstrad CPC\Screenshots
2=
[Extras]
1=.\Amstrad CPC\Extras
2=
[Misc]
Photos=.\Amstrad CPC\Musician Photos
Music=.\Amstrad CPC\Music

3. I choose 232 games as Favourites - if You don't want it, You can delete it:
- go to view "Favourite Games/Music" in GameBase
- mark the game and press CTRL+F12 (removes game from Favourites in "Favourite's" view)

Rest is untouched by me. I hope Mark will not be angry on me icon_wink.gif
Ofcourse my changes do not break anything, everything is working 100%

I dont mind, but renaming it to Amstrad CPC will overwrite over the other amstrad gamebase available, if someone already had it installed. Thats why i called it Amstradmania.

I fully understand You and respect Your decisions. I renamed all of downloaded GameBase's to have more precise names (nothing against You or anyone else). I'm affraid I may have weak memory (in my head, not PC's) after several years, so I prevent it like this icon_cool.gif. Renaming database's requires more attention when collecting new ones, but I take care of it, to test and collect the best of them.

Tnx again for everything You did icon_biggrin.gif

I just downloaded and installed AmstradMania from the UG site (with considerable help from Vicman).
Really grateful to him!
Seems to be much more comprehensive than the Amstrad CPC version?
