How do you rename an existing Gamebase without losing any customized interface settings?
For example, say I have a Gamebase called "GB_EMU" and I want to rename it to "Purple Emu." I know I can rename the folder "GB_EMU" to "Purple Emu" and rename the .mdb file to match, but when I do, I lose all previous display customizations (extra fields, fonts, etc.)
Is there another method to administer Gamebase names? |

I think those settings are stored in the registry.
if you know what your doing??
you could use REGEDIT and change the GameBase Name there also. |

Yes, I was able to rename my Gamebases through the registry:
| Code: | 1. regedit.exe
2. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\GB64\GameBase\GameBase
3. Right-click keyname
4. Left-click Rename |
The Gamebase directory, Gamebase .mdb file, and registry keyname entry must all match. |
