www.viceteam.org
for the VICE emulator
www.ccs64.com
for the CCS emulator
Both emulators have a lot of help files included, and more help online.
"ROMs" is an incorrect term. You can download the D64/T64 (disk/tape) files for the games ONE AT A TIME from this website, by searching for them under the GBC tab. In Commodore terms, a ROM file only applies to
a) the computer's ROM chip
b) a cartridge ROM, which can also be downloaded for use with the emulators
Hope this helps

BUT CCS does run some games/demos better. And CCS has the multiplayer Netplay option...
It's hard to say which is the "best". I use Vice the most, and have the Commodore filetypes associated with Vice so it loads up straight away...Matt wrote:so tell me what's the best emulator then!

Okay so I wanted to download labrinyth, what is that called a rom or whatever that other thing was called? I just want a few games. Does anyone remember a game for the commodore 64 where you walk around and everyone is trying to get you, and you have a stereo and have to find tapes for it. Where do you find games on this site?
