I'm just glad to help as I doubt Phaeron has any intention of adding a .bas boot and to be honest I don't blame him as it's a headache, far more complex than running an .exe file.

Next batch in your email box, up to L now, and there's a couple non workers that are not actual bas files...

Hoping to get a bigger batch next time..

Many thanks Paul, i will start swapping the files over today. I don't suppose you know how to convert .cas files to .atr, i find autobooting basic cassette images dosn't work.

I just tried a .cas by command line and it worked?

the autoboot flag isn't unticked is it?

Also is a a CLOAD cas image?

Are these in the database already, if not send me some and I'll have a play.

The gamebase contains hundreds of them already, they just don't seem to work very well with the autoboot enabled. Its only the basic ones that give me the trouble.

Ah, they will need a forced CLOAD then, I MAY be able to help you there, do you know which ones they are..?

As for the others, could be unsupported baud rates...

Scrap all that...

the only way to do it is to use the switches for the OS and to turn basic on and also use the ./nocasauto switch. As long as there no disk drive enabled it will pop up to a Basic ready screen and then the user would have to type CLOAD and hit return twice and then when it says ready again type run.

I can't automate that I'm afraid..
