Hi dax,

Would you consider re-uploading the zero configuration CD32 & CDTV Gamebase?

I would be very grateful. I only have the one that was uploaded by Seiya a few years ago.

Would there be a way to convert that to the zero configuration?

Thanks

nscxp2005: I Can't help You with such BIG compilation with my upload speed for at least half of year (or even longer). I'm outside of my home. So, sorry! If it changes in future, will post links, but can't promise for now. Maybe others, that downloaded it, will do it earlier.

To use it with Z.C.M. mode You have to:
- rename "Amiga CD32 & CDTV" folder to "Amiga CDTV - CD32" (the same with .mdb file)
- change in .ini files:

1. Paths.ini:
[Games]
1=.\Amiga CDTV - CD32\Games
2=
[Pictures]
1=.\Amiga CDTV - CD32\Pictures
2=
[Extras]
1=.\Amiga CDTV - CD32\Extras
2=
[Misc]
Music=.\Amiga CDTV - CD32\Music

2. MusicPlayers.ini:
[Players]
1=XMPlay v3.6
2=
[XMPlay v3.6]
UseShortFilenames=0
PlayerPathFile=.\Amiga CDTV - CD32\Music Player\XMPlay v3.6\xmplay.exe
CommandLineParams=%musicfile%
SupportedTypes=M3U;

3. Emulators.ini:
[Emulators]
1=WinUAE
2=
[WinUAE]
UseShortFilenames=0
UseDefaultTypes=0
SupportedTypes=cue;iso;bin;mds;ccd
EmulatorPathFile=.\Amiga CDTV - CD32\Emulator\winuae.exe
ScriptFile=CD32 & CDTV (Keyboard).txt
WaitFinish=1
1=.\Amiga CDTV - CD32\Scripts\CD32 & CDTV (Joypad).txt
2=.\Amiga CDTV - CD32\Scripts\CD32 & CDTV (Keyboard).txt
3=

- download "Gamebase_core.exe" (gamebase.pl)
- copy the .exe to root of Gamebase folder (it MUST be located on root of any disk drive, like: c:\gamebase, d:\gamebase ... z:\gamebase)
- execute the .exe with Administrator permissions (Win 7/8/8.1/10 supported - no Win'XP support!) and follow instruction.

With gamebase_core.exe You can switch display modes (window/full screen) and controls (x1-x360/ps3 pads/convenient keys).

Awesome! So by doing that to Seiya's pack would turn it in to a Zero Configuration?

Also would you recent updates work with that pack?

It should work with Z.C.M. mode. But updates MAY NOT work directly, because as base GB I used Pancho/bagpipes/geddy's, later updated with Seiya's files (mostly games), then extended games/screens/extras with my researches, then removed duplicates and obsolete iso's, then packed games and converted FLAC's to MP3's.

I can upload complete Gamebase except Games. It helps You a LOT. Then You will find games in internet then add it manually - very simple, then do copy/paste in Gemus from other games (F2 key on selected game) and that's all :)

Hi All,

I would like to request if somebody has the full set of the Amiga CD32/CDTV 64GB Zero Configuration set that Dax uploaded.

I would really appreciate it.

Thanks

I do not think anyone will upload 64GB to a file share, as there is no need to.
All Amiga ISO are available via the search bar in your browser.
You can just download your favourites, if you like. :wink:

Ok. I'm looking forward to the zero configuration gamebase you upload without games. I'll look for all the games needed.

Hi all,

I'm trying to run the PSP gamebase but it does not show any pictures or runs the game. I have installed the gamebase_core.exe and added the PSP gamebase, but it does nothing.

I hope somebody can help me getting it working.

Thanks

1. Verify Your paths to files first (all *.ini contain paths).
2. On some Windows systems there are problems like You report. After first run - even with DEP disabled and with added exception to "gbregrun.exe" (which is done automatically after restart within gamebase_core.exe). The only thing You have to do is to run ONCE more "gamebase.exe" or "gbregrun.exe". Don't forget to run it as Administrator, like every installation requires. It occurs occasionally, sometimes when user has antivirus software (which may blocks some hidden installations from batches). But it does only sometimes :)

Requested files after weekend.

check your emulators.ini

[Emulators]
1=PPSSPP
2=
[PPSSPP]
UseShortFilenames=0
UseDefaultTypes=0
SupportedTypes=iso;cso
EmulatorPathFile=c:\GameBase\PSP\Emulators\ppsspp\PPSSPPWindows.exe
ScriptFile=PPSSPP.txt
WaitFinish=1
1=

the emulator has two EXE
if are you running x64 change text to this...

PPSSPPWindows64.exe

PPSSPP does not run EBOOT images (PSX1 conversions)
so do even bother trying to run those images.

run the emulator by itself and configure your graphic card screen, joypad manually and save seetings.
..\Emulators\ppsspp\memstick\PSP\SYSTEM\ppsspp.ini

try running an ISO through the emulator menu.
every verified ISO will create a screenshot and icon in the emulator front end.

some games are compressed ISO (CSO).
http://www.isocompressor.com/
you might need to uncompress them??

Hi guys,

I got it working. I needed to set the 'PSP' Paths. For some reason they were not set by default.

With the Wii one it mentions something about 'There is no script for this emulator'

The pack I have is the most recent Wii gamebase.

Thanks

If You used Wii from my upload, it's preconfigured to use (probably) keyboard mode, 100% working with/without Gamebase_core.exe (like rest of my uploads).

Amiga CDTV - CD32 for nscxp2005 (complete Gamebase with only 20 games)

Preconfigured to:
- Pleasure Mode (graphic filters enabled, fastest loading speed)
- Convenient Mode (full screen, controls with convenient keyboard keys, XPADDER disabled, 1 player mode only)
- only 20 games available, like: cdtv/cd32/unofficials (only small in sizes)
- access to manual within Help / User manual directly from Gamebase engine (to see keyboard mappings and other things)
Download:

Code: Select all

https://mega.nz/#F!kA8jyTga!g8Xyc_HaDl7fa-_ezmVOgQ
It's 8.5 GB, so wait till upload finishes. And report when You finish download.

Use Tools / Verify available files in Gamebase, after download/unpack, to see/use available resources.
