If You like MAME, I released small package for MAME 0.172 called MAMEsetter. It automates configuration of graphic settings (D3D, OpenGL, BGFX) and controls (keyboard, x1/x360 pads, others) at global level. Pictures show end effect:

Code: Select all

https://mega.nz/#F!QcMUWY6T!pK49eRh_vieHDXfHOTIHxA
Download:

Code: Select all

https://mega.nz/#F!RYkRgBZQ!12M7S1FAdLiYbLEKr0bcWQ
Copy downloaded archive to root of MAME folder, execute and follow instructions. If you have own preferences of graphics for specific games - make a backup of INI folder first!

Enjoy :P

MAMEsetter v0.7 released, compatible with MAMEUIFX v172.1. It's final version, until someone reports errors with Windows 10 which I dont use then not tested with it. Screenshots (link above) explain most of features. You dont have to do manual backup now. Only select options via mamesetter.bat. Manual included.

After years of working on GB's configuration automation through batches, the package becomes GBsetter v1.0. Number added to distinguish versions. Screenshots of main features at Gamebase.pl / Gamebase Mini. It will also work with Your customized GB if You rename folder and .mdb file of particular GB compilation to the same name like I do. More info - manuals in uploaded package*.

* - it may be useful if You want to use Gamebase on different PC's (home / work) with different display modes (window / full screen), different effects (retro / pleasure) or different controls (keyboard / xinput pads / xpadder pads) - like I do.
If You don't - don't bother
