Maybe we should have a Hungarian version

Are they full Hungarian games or are there also engish translations?

It would slow me down making two GB's.
removing all Hungarian and Italian pirated games would speed it up though.

They seem to be FULL versions, rather than just dodgey translations.
I think most are home brew (scene /group) and magazine type-ins.
i am not sure, but wouldn't exactly say "commercial".

All good so far!.

All games and extras are done.
screens, covers, maps, alt PRG, TAP, D64, G64, 1551, D81 and SDiEC are linked.
conveted approx 100 TAP only games to PRG so far.
*there are over 1000 to do, but they are really bad rips of available commercial games translated into italian with missing graphics or bugs.
I will probably nuke all those titles before release.

Just making company data lists suitable for the available gamebase tabs.
there are more data names than tabs, so i need to merge a few together.
released, re-released
cracked, trained.
code, written by
developed, produced

but soon as i decide how to merge each of name tables, it will be finished in a day.
then the play testng and scripting will begin.

Ahh well , i know the plus4 has some nice games

stalling on the italian hack tape compilations.
i have converted 99% of the taps to prg.
i should just delete them and move on, but deleting is not in my nature.

i can send you a link, if you want to test like you did with the vic20.

Hi Stan,
The GameBase was almost finished...
Then i made the decision to delete well over 1000 entries from the gamebase.

all of those are itailian re-hacks of available games.
they just filled the database with duplicated games with several different names.
making finding the actual game you wanted more of a chore.

all the italian compilation tapes are now split and dumped into prg files and stored in the extras.
under the compilation names (Byte/Go/c16-msx/Compuset/game e uils....)
And the buggy TAP files have been deleted.
this was alot of work!.
so the files are still available for those that want them, but at a fraction of the size (13k).

i guess it will get it's first release for testing in a week or so, then final by Christmas.

Thing is, I can't stop messing about with it, but all the hard work is done.

Thanks to Sjakie43 playtesting all the games.
The one's which he reported with problems, are now fixed or auto booting!.

I was also hoping for a small emulator update from Gaia, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen.
No worries, a couple of games will just have to be loaded manually.

If i can't finish it in time?
i promise to send you a download link of the current version, before the big day!
keep checking your PM.

yes, that will happen.

i have decided to release it as is.
then i will release a very small update of the MDB file and a few games later on.
