Hi Paul,
Subone also mentioned sonic missing on page 3 of this section (2015).
i guess the files are there in your GB folders, but have beeen renamed in one of the updates.
have a look for similar names with a typo.
bare...
streets...
ikari...
and box cover files without the pixel size info [800px]
the original downloads are still on Mega.
i know it's a ballache, but you could try grabbing one of the letter archives of a missing file to see if it's in there.
i will also have a look to see if i can find them on my other drive.

Yeah, I grabbed the Mega that you originally linked, if you think the files are in there but renamed then I'll beaver away for them at my end. I did do a search through the entire directories with Directory Opus and some stuff came up but it wasn't exact names so it put me off.
Will dive back in..
Also, possibly you may have an answer for this one, recently updated the GBC to V19, I have everything including the video files (thank you easynews, all the way back from 2014 as well) but noticed there are a couple of hundred sid files missing. I used the latest HIVsid collection, I guess there's been some changes, ie wrong author etc, but 230+ seems a lot..

PS, did you ever finish the vic20 GB script I spoke to you about around Xmas

Just looked on my old portable drives...
i no longer have the MegaDrive Mania GB.
*probably didn't have the space or need to keep all the Spanish stuff.
i do remember having to fix a few things at the time???.
seems odd that i can't find that...

Did you ever go further down the line on my joint old Atari Gamepack, I know you were looking at it.
Must admit I have not looked at it in years, mind you, I didn't program the thing, I did almost all the games and tech Atari help for the emulators. Credit to my South Korean mate Starwindz for the excellent frontend.
Know what you mean about none the wiser, I'm still daft as a brush. I had one of the local lads chat to me about play Call of Duty on the PS5, when I said I played it as well he was shocked. He says "what, you have a PS5, why??"...Made me feel old
I had great pleasure in telling him all about what I played on the PS5, he looked at me in a new way, I was 'one of the boys'
Anyway, enough blabbing, you look after you and yours, keep up the great work and enjoy yourself..

i did figure a lot of stuff how the frontend reads the mdb file.
so made "gamepack" of the complete HomeSoft collection.
extras are a bit more, "manual work" editing files.
for me, i found the gamepack frontend very unstable compared to gamebase.
but i've learned how to bypass all the gamebase faults over the years.
