Full Screen?

How do you get games runnning full screen? i.e. without a border (or minimum border).
I've tried Alt+D, and Alt+Enter, and changing all the resolution and screen settings, both in the emulator on my PC, and still I'm looking at a game in a window with a wide black border.
There must be a way!

Try the option form the menu that says, not suprisingly, "Fullscreen."
Seriously, need to decrease the resolution of the WinVICE screen to be the actual C64 resolution. In the settings->video settings menu, decrease the resolution to 320x240 or 400x300 (full C64 border).

Thanks for your replies.
I've tried that (the res.) I must have set something wrongly on my PC cos I then at 400x300 get a view of a square of the game running at correct (full screen) size but viewed through a black border.
I've also noticed the Windows Xp pinball game is now only running in a little window too.
I'm sure I'll sort it out. Annoying tho.

You do get a black border at 400x300. There is no perfect fit for fullscreen with full C64 border in WinVICE or even in CCS64 v3.0b.

Ok, but I'm getting an 11inch emulated screen on a 15 inch monitor = quite a wide border.
Is that the best fit? (in Vice)

I have a 17 inch monitor and get about a 1 inch black border. I think it depends on the monitor size and video card. You only have so many res settings in Windows, and I don't know of any that have the perfect 320x240 (or 320x200 NTSC). I also have a computer with a 22 inch monitor with a top-end CAD graphics card that supports tons of resolutions which gives me about a 1/4 inch black border.
You'll notice that CCS64 v3.0b uses DirectX and gives a black border, while CCS64 v2.0b doesn't use DirectX and usually can give a near-perfect fit.

Cheers.
Something to think about.
I also need a TV out so I can set up on a much bigger screen, and get real old style 64 look pixels...

TV looks good (better than on a modern monitor), but on very large and/or newer TVs (like widescreen or HDTVs), it still doesn't look that great and it definitely doesn't have the same "feel" as it did on a 13-17 inch tube TV.
