We need a bit more detail...
Are you using the emulator - VICE or CCS?
Or do you want to listen to the music?

using vice c64 emulator,
going to
www.c64.com downloading my games, but id love to hear the sound for some of these games again

Vice has an option to turn the sound on or off.

Step 1.
Make sure Options > Sound Playback is ticked (on)
Step 2.
Settings > Sound settings and use DirectX if you are in Windows
Step 3.
Settings > SID settings > SID engine is set to FastSID or reSID

no look with that, and i tried downloading the hvsc, mentioned in the other message, but it keeps stopping halfway through,
