New at this and needs some help.......

Hello all, I am new to this emu game and I want to play some c64 games on my xbox. I have downloaded vice64 already and it is installed onto my xbox. My question is do I need to dwnload that gamebase v1.1 and put my c64 games there to convert them so I can use them on my xbox??? Any input on this would be greatly apprecitated................Also do i need to dwnload all of the sids for the games or zips files of the games I have already????

I guess no one on these forums has an xbox with the same issues and or questions that I have AMAZING...................

Getting the games would be a start. I'm not sure how Vice works on the XBox, but I figure you probably couldn't run GB64 through it. So no, you don't need to get GB v1.1 as that's just the front end. Boot Vice up, attach the game file in question and play

someone replied to me thx, yeah i have a bunch of games and ill guess i just try one and go from there but my next question is do i need to get the sid files for these too or there includedin the zip files ????

Sid files are typically not included. You can download the biggest and best sid collection for the HVSC page
http://www.hvsc.c64.org/ and extract the game sids you want.
