Yes there are indeed some publishers which do have single quotes in the name, e. g. the German mag "64'er":
(and in case you didn't know, this is what has been confusing mySQL from its "birth")
- Go to Advanced Search
- Enter "64'er" (without double quotes) into the Publisher field
- Press "Go" button
You'll get over 450 results.
Now go to page 1, 2, 3 >>> boom.
You'll get "search returned no games" and the publisher field will show a whopping sort of "64\\\\\\\'er" text.
Would be nice if this could be fixed. Thanks. |

thanks, but I know of this ugly workaround already
it is very awkward to advance pages that way, so what is needed is a proper fix!
usually it also happens that the backslashes are added up to the URL, which also explains that there are no results anymore after a couple of sub-pages! |
