Normally I would use the UAE/winfellow emulators on the windows platforms, but there is a self boot (with a light ver of linux) ver of the Amiga emu, that runs under linux.
The performance difference was immediately noticable.
Also, there was no need to configure/set up the emu as it runs from the disc.
I think a bootable disc ver of Gamebase would be very much appreciated by a lot of people.
Especially if it were the 'full' ver of the gamebase.
It would save quite a bit of HD space also.
Also, there is a new ver of Vice out...

I know that would be a bit of work, but why not do a 'marillion' on this?
Pre-order the discs (IE pre-pay) to help keep the development going, and contribute toward the project.
Alternatively, a PC ver DVD with everything on it, all the games, scans, etc.
any thoughts?
