GB64 Recommended Games...

Untouchables, The
Neo-Rio says: In the same vein as their masterful "Platoon" game, Ocean have done the same for the C64 version of "The Untouchables". The graphics and atmosphere of 1920's prohibition is great, and difficulty is on par with Platoon as well.

Castle Wolfenstein
Neo-Rio says: "Achtung!" As well as being banned in Germany, this is the original inspiration for iD's "Wolfenstein 3D" and the FPS genre. This golden oldie forces you to rely on stealth more than firepower however. In game speech too.

Gryzor
Neo-Rio says: A classic on the NES, this conversion of the arcade game to the Commodore 64 only disappoints a little because of some missing levels and no two player option. Other than that, it's just as fun.

Galaxions
Neo-Rio says: This game has "classic" written all over it. Strangely more fun and challenging than the Atari official release.

Zodiac
Neo-Rio says: In Zodiac, you must search the maze for all the zodiacs. When you find them, you'll be warped to the mystical Cubic Gate where you'll have to stick them all in while dodging the nasties.

Hungaroring
Neo-Rio says: Not a bad little Pole Position clone this one.

Ivan 'Ironman' Stewart's Super Off Road
graveyardjohn says: A top conversion of the arcade great, imagine Super Sprint with monster trucks round an arena full of water, potholes and hills.

Sport of Kings
Jimbo says: As a kid I used to play this with a friend all the time. We'd gamble with Polo mints. I always won, of course! :)

Choplifter
Steve says: Heli Rescue game, one of the first games i played over a quite long time.
