Katakis
Neo-Rio says: This game nearly got scrapped for being too similar to "R-Type". Fortunately it survived, and what a fun game it is too. Katakis lives!

Go for the Gold!
graveyardjohn says: Slightly different from Summer/World Games, and great fun with a friend. Includes archery, weightlifting, and to be a bit different - diving.

Gauntlet
graveyardjohn says: The official Gauntlet clone was alledgedly very bug-ridden, though the version I had on cassette didn't seem to pose any problems to us. Unless of course my brother and I were very poor at it and couldn't get far enough for it to crash! Not a bad conversion, all things considered.

Skool Daze
Neo-Rio says: I had more fun getting told off, amassing tons of lines, and shooting the other kids with the peashooter to actually bother to play this game properly.

Castle Wolfenstein
Neo-Rio says: "Achtung!" As well as being banned in Germany, this is the original inspiration for iD's "Wolfenstein 3D" and the FPS genre. This golden oldie forces you to rely on stealth more than firepower however. In game speech too.

Wizball
J2003C says: Wizball (US) is a classic addictive game. Difficult at first, but fairly easy once mastered. Excellent music and effects. Try playing with 2 players as a team.

Turbo Out Run
graveyardjohn says: A great racer for the C64, only 2nd to Turbocharge. Good graphics, great Jeroen Tel title theme, and it beats the previous US Gold version of Out Run hands down.

Raid on Bungeling Bay
Neo-Rio says: A classic shooter. Drop your payload of bombs onto the factories, blast airplanes, defend your carrier, and sink the ship under construction - if you can!

Breakdown
Neo-Rio says: This game was a great little shooter/platformer than once graced the font cover-tape of the legendary Zzap! magazine
