4th & Inches
Matt Larsen says: This is one of the best American Football games for the C64, in my opinion. My friends and I used to play this for hours. If you learn how to do a screen properly you can be almost unbeatable!

Daley Thompson's Decathlon
graveyardjohn says: Yeah, yeah, you'll break your joystick... but truthfully a Cheetah 125 came a cropper from good old Daley 'revolving body' Thompson. I'd play this 'un on the keyboard if I were you. PC Joysticks are too expensive to break on 'Track And Field' style clones such as this!

First Samurai
Neo-Rio says: This game is a HUGE scrolling platformer... if you are platform game fanatic, this quality game is for you.

Zolyx
Jimbo says: It may not look that great, but it will keep you coming back for more and more!

Pitstop II
Neo-Rio says: Anyone who was anyone with a Commodore 64 had this game back in the day. Probably the first implementation of head-to-head displays on a computer game. Classic two player race duelling!

Echelon
J2003C says: This isn't a great flight sim, but is an ok shoot'em up. Better to play the puzzle/exploration part of the game and find the clues to reveal the secret of the planet, which can take several days to complete.

Terra Cresta
Neo-Rio says: One of the better upwards scrolling shootemups on the C64. It was a joy to load from tape too... it had that wonderful Ocean Loader music.

Great American Cross-Country Road Race, The
Neo-Rio says: Activision converted their Atari 2600 game "Enduro" to the C64, and added a cannonball run element. The gameplay stays simple, but now there is actually a point to the whole thing.

Mummy's Tomb, The
Neo-Rio says: Cute and easy little maze game. Also admirably attempts to play the first few bars of The Doors' "Light my Fire" when you manage to pick up the lantern!
