Frank Bruno's Boxing
Neo-Rio says: Nintendo's old "Punch Out" game gets the Commdore 64 clone treatment. The result is actually quite impressive (and includes the obligatory Rocky tune), although some of the boxers get nigh impossible later on.

Mercenary - Escape from Targ
Mayhem says: A game where you can go anywhere and do almost anything. Stuck on Targ with no idea how to get off, it's time to explore, sell and figure out how to leave. And a game to show that yes the C64 can do fast moving vectors!

Wheel of Fortune
Neo-Rio says: I think everyone has had fantasies about playing this game on TV. And unlike console versions of this game, the C64 lets you save your winnings on the Champions list so you can come back to play on the show!

Labyrinth
graveyardjohn says: Labyrinth is arguably one of the best of the film-to-game licences, following your character through well represented scenes from the film. If you liked the film, and love adventures, you'll like this!

Hat Trick
J2003C says: Very close to the arcade game. Great feel and good response to joystick input. Makes a great 2P game too. Very challenging on the expert setting.
|
Zolyx
Jimbo says: It may not look that great, but it will keep you coming back for more and more!
|
Trashman
Neo-Rio says: Another original concept. You play the role of a trash collector, and have to dump all the street's bins into the garbage truck. Just don't get killed by traffic, step all over the neighbours garden, or anger the dog!
|
Scorpius
graveyardjohn says: Entertaining 'R-Type' a-like, but for two players. Excellent levels are only let down by the wimpy end of level baddies, but a very enjoyable blast nonetheless.
|
Action Biker
Pugsy says: Looks dire and the control can be annoying, but the game is great fun and it's perfectly accompanied by a Rob H soundtrack.
