GB64 Recommended Games...

Wargame Construction Set
Neo-Rio says: Make your own war games! You get to design everything, from map, army, unit strength. Recreate historic battles or futuristic wars. Make a game, and let the whole world play it!

Cosmic Causeway - Trailblazer II
Neo-Rio says: WOW... the speed of this game will blow your socks off. Cosmic Causeway is the sequel to Trailblazer, the latter being a classic in it's own right. This time, our Amiga-ball gets to blast things too!

Total Eclipse
Neo-Rio says: Ok, so it's not Tomb Raider and the 3D graphics are slow, but it's forgivable here as Total Eclipse is a very well designed adventure game. Beware of the booby traps in the pyramid!

Bop'n Rumble
Neo-Rio says: Comic book violence! Beat up old men, old ladies who throw handbags, the odd banana throwing gorilla, basketball players, fat men etc. Your impressive line up of ridiculous fighting moves will give you a good laugh.

Last Ninja III
Neo-Rio says: The Last Ninja series were classic games for the Commodore 64. The final game in the series is perhaps the most graphically and sonically impressive, and the end sequence is the best I've seen on the C64.

Arcade Classics
graveyardjohn says: An excellent Firebird £1.99 game, with four classic arcade games - Spacewar, Snakes, Space Invaders and Asteroids, and a top Hubbard heavy-rock soundtrack.

Turrican II - The Final Fight
Neo-Rio says: Turrican II is one game for the Commodore 64 that really pushes it's technical limitations, and yet is every bit as engrossing as the 16-bit conversions.

Barbie
Neo-Rio says: "Hi Barbie! It's Ken! Would you like to play a crap game?" "Sounds like fun!" "Great! See you in an hour....... maybe"

Hacker
graveyardjohn says: LOGON PLEASE: is of course how this starts, but to say more would spoil the fun, half of which is to find out exactly what to do! Tricky, engrossing, and sometimes frustrating, but entertaining nonetheless.
