GB64 Recommended Games...

Choplifter
Pugsy says: One of the first great games on the C64, and one of the few home computer games to get converted to the arcade.

Fernandez Must Die
Neo-Rio says: In case Ikari Warriors wasn't enough for you, we have more of the same here!

Lord of the Balrogs
Neo-Rio says: Don't laugh at the graphics or ye will anger.... The Lord of the Balrogs. Play this game and you will be addicted to.... The Lord of the Balrogs.

IK+
Pugsy says: The ultimate c64 fighting game, simply a masterpiece!

Lightforce
Neo-Rio says: A rather simple vertically scrolling shooter - blessed by a particularly excellent Rob Hubbard track however.

Total Eclipse
Neo-Rio says: Ok, so it's not Tomb Raider and the 3D graphics are slow, but it's forgivable here as Total Eclipse is a very well designed adventure game. Beware of the booby traps in the pyramid!

Jumpman Junior
Neo-Rio says: Sequel to Jumpman, but with fewer levels all in a single load. Not an easy game by a long stretch, and will frustrate and challenge you to no end.

Hysteria
Neo-Rio says: Colourful side scrolling blaster. Pick up pieces of a puzzle, upon which you are greeted by a weird alien end-of-level boss. The music is quite memorable as well.

Street Rod
Neo-Rio says: Buy cars and trick them out for underground drag and street racing. When you get enough cash, you'll be able to get the meanest machine to take on "The King" in a pink slips race!
