Space-Pilot
Neo-Rio says: A C64 clone of the legendary arcade game "Time Pilot". This version has dated a bit but is just as fun nonetheless.

Turrican II - The Final Fight
Neo-Rio says: Turrican II is one game for the Commodore 64 that really pushes it's technical limitations, and yet is every bit as engrossing as the 16-bit conversions.
|
Falcon Patrol
Neo-Rio says: An obvious 'Defender' ripoff, but a playable classic anyway. You're holding off waves of fighter planes from bombing your fuel bases. Tail up behind the planes and blast them!
|
Cavelon II
Neo-Rio says: Addictive! Somehow by collecting pieces of a broken door, you can use it to escape to the next level (what the...?). Get Excaliba and hunt your enemies on a duck! (didn't steal that idea from Jouste, did they?).
|
Saboteur
Neo-Rio says: This ninja game looks bad, but is playable for some reason (either that or I find it nostalgic). You have to steal a disk (I think) and then escape in a helicopter.
|
Rolling Ronny
Neo-Rio says: A polished platform game that came into existance towards the end of the C64's shelf life. It's a beautifully detailed and colorful game if you're into this sort of thing.
|
Fame Quest
Neo-Rio says: A mini RPG-like game which will keep you entertained for a while as you try to complete it.
|
Driller
Neo-Rio says: Dark and eerie 3D adventure, with some brilliantly atmospheric music. Some puzzles are a bit tough though, and placing the drills in the right places isn't easy either.
|
Benji - Space Rescue
J2003C says: This is supposed to be a kids game, but it really is for all ages. Pretty fun and not as easy as you might think.
