Outlaw
Neo-Rio says: The official version of "Gun Smoke" wasn't that good on the C64, but this blatant clone does the game concept more justice.

Lightforce
Neo-Rio says: A rather simple vertically scrolling shooter - blessed by a particularly excellent Rob Hubbard track however.
|
Labyrinth
graveyardjohn says: Labyrinth is arguably one of the best of the film-to-game licences, following your character through well represented scenes from the film. If you liked the film, and love adventures, you'll like this!
|
Wicked
graveyardjohn says: A very different game where you encourage your own good spores to grow while defeating the evil spores, helped or hindered along the way by tarot cards. Originally cost me a fiver, and was worth every penny.

SEUCK - Shoot 'Em-Up Construction Kit
Neo-Rio says: Arrrgghhh! It's the construction kit responsible for a lot of crappy shooting games in Gamebase! Actually it's very rewarding to create your own game... just don't make one that "SEUCKs" ;)
|
He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
Neo-Rio says: If you're too young to remember He-Man, then you missed out on cartoons, plastic toys, a feature film... and this game. It's not a good game by a long stretch, but the Ben Daglish soundtrack gives me some nostalgia.
|
Suicide Express
Neo-Rio says: Fondly remembered for it's Bladerunner-esque music and the sythesized voice which tells you your score when you die. I don't understand why the author made many clones of it, the game is a bit average.
|
Tau Ceti
J2003C says: Although not a great flight sim, it has enough unique features, like night vision, to make you keep trying to get to all the terminals and complete your mission, which I still have never been able to do without getting blown up (damn laser towers)!
|
Skate or Die!
graveyardjohn says: Tony Hawks Pro Skater, but 10 years earlier! Get with 'the kids' and take on your mates (or the computer) on a variety of different activities, including half-pipe, downhill jam, and a battle in an empty swimming pool.
