I can't say I've seen any mistakes, been giving it a good play with Altirra so should have spotted something by now.hardmanm wrote:As you may know, im working on the next version of this gamebase and would like to hear from anyone who has found mistakes or bugs in the laster version of my atari 800 gamebase V6. And dead handy for the gamebase now it auto detects pretty much every format (if named correctly) with I know the exception of basic.
Even VAPI and PRO disk support now.
And there's a nice fast IO fix which fixed LOADS of mega images failing.
Now all I have to do is weed out all the PC .com files that some idiot mixed in with the atari .com images. Same with a load of .exe files.
That's what you get for collecting every thing people post
I'm hoping you have spotted the 1.3 final that has more things fixed than the last beta.hardmanm wrote:I am very impressed by Altirra, and have been doing some testing myself, once alot more bugs are ironed out, it will be the default emulator of choice.

I have uploaded a beta version of the latest version of the gamebase, it is a work in progress. It is a lite version and contains no extras, the final version will have everything included, it is about 200MB in size and includeds lots of new games and contains the whole of the Homesoft compilation collection, yes all 361 disks.
The main new feature is the inclusion of the excellent new atari800 emulator Altirra. I have included the latest beta version pre14.5.
enjoy

You *might* get full cas support but I get the feeling he's not willing to inject bas files. I know the joystick side is on his todo but when is another matter..hardmanm wrote:It will be aleast a month before its ready, but im also waiting for Altirra to improve alot more. Its very good, but lacks full joystick configuring, bas support, and full .cas support.

Mark a question if I may..
How did you get the screenshot for Imperial Walker?
I can't get the game to run on anything using your or my image
I also filled in the details re Maltese Chicken, I should know them it's me who got the game published in the first place. John the guy who co wrote it went on to work with John Romero (him of Doom & Quake) and now co runs Paramount Digital Entertainment in the States..
And it was nice to see one of my hacks in there, Raid over Libya, underneath it's just Sidewinder but with brand new levels in a booting single package.
