Mark, where there's an identically named game I've used the file name as the reference.

Attack on ep cgy 4 needs 800 mode..

I don't know what you want to do with the run"C comments but I'm suggesting it go in the name as I don't think people will read the comment box?

Flarp see my list of fixes I've posted a few messages back, I've tried for some of the others to copy your results and I can't they either run as they should or are on my list.

I don't know what version of Altirra you are using but do as Marks suggested and make sure you are on the latest beta.

When you say garbled do you mean screen or sound or both?

Things like 180 are just too fast but sound fine..

Flarp wrote:Well I did the /resetall as you suggested but it didn't seem to fix anything.

I don't have time to test them all but here are problems I've had with the #'d games..

180 - Scrolling garbled
221 Baker Street - Black Screen and no signs of loading or anything

3D24 - black screen looks like it's loading but nothing ever happens
3D Laby = Garbled
3D Maze Escape = Garbled
3-D_Tic_Tac_Toe (1979)(Atari).zip = Blue screen.. ready prompt
747 Flight Simulator = Blue screen and ready prompt

Well I was using Altirra 1.6 that came with the gamebase..but now I'm using Altirra 1.7 test 2 as you suggested and I'm getting the same results.

221 Baker Street = a black screen that never loads anything
3D Laby = screen garbled.. it looks like Q-bert swearing.. just garbled text all over the screen

3D Maze Escape = The title screen flashes very quickly then I can hear the sound on the next screen but the video is all garbled like in 3D Laby above.

180 = I hear the music but the screen is horizontally out of sync very badly.

Interesting when I get a game the just goes to the blue screen and I get the Ready prompt if I type RUN"C as suggested I get "ERROR- 138" and since I don't use the c: to store my gamebase I use G: if I try typing RUN"G it gives me "ERROR- 138" not sure if that helps you or not, just thought it might be helpful.

I tried this on the 3D_Tic_Tac_Toe_(1979)(Atari).zip

I'm at a loss as to what the issue with Altirra is you have, beginning to think it may be DirectX related or video driver related, more likely DirectX.

As for the RUN"C , that's not a pointer to the C: Drive its a quick way off saying run whats on the Cassette c being the cassette device...

Btw Flarp, I really should have asked this already..

Are you running these files via the gamebase or directly on Altirra without the gamebase?

Try running the same games directly with Altirra, not via the gamebase, you will have to unzip them.

This will rule out or not it being the gamebase..

Well when I unzipped the games and booted them directly in Altirra .. they all worked fine.. So it's not the emulator which is awesome by the way, but I still don't know why they don't work under gamebase?

I can't explain it but when I went back and tried all the previous problem games under gamebase they all worked..now and when I did RUN"C on some they worked. I did update gamebase to the latest 1.3 version the update version and I had to rereun GBregrun.

So maybe that was the problem the whole time because I had been using a slightly older version of the beta before when I first noticed the problem. I was using gbv13b20100305a.

All the games work under gamebase with Altirra and all the games are still zipped.. so thanks for the help.

Glad it's all working, I didn't think to ask about the Gamebase update because they were included in the package so presumed you had done a full update :)

Have fun :)
