i have 3988 games for dos and i search something more

now there are some double games, but maybe for some games, euro and usa users know their version name so i leave Space Station Oblivion and Driller, Powerslave and Exhumed.

I agree Seiya if a game had different names in different territories then I think you need multiple entries for each.

you one time said: dos forever.
anytime i decide to stop, i find new dos games that i never seen in my life so, i download and add to my gamebase..
However dos games are not infinite like windows games, i think that 4000 games should be enough and a good tosec

But if i find a new version or a CD to replace some cdrip i have to add :)

so, now my intention is to reach at least 4000 games

i hope that after final update 10 someone with a high bandwitch can upload whole ms-dos goldies..

ps:
you have right, i have to fnish it
but you know that with my slow bandwitch i must works in this way..regular update to reach a day the "THE-END".

i don't promise nothing, but The-End could be this final 10..

Pondo, relax, he isn't your employee. He do this because he likes to do it and more important, he share it. If he wants to do 100 updates, he is free to do that, and it's something good that any gamebase get updates :)

pondo198 wrote:this is like a bad joke that you keep telling over again and again and again. Why even use the word 'final' in any of the updates? I started downloading this gamebase so I could package it all together and re-up it as a complete package because you say "this is the end". "This is the final"... blah blah blah. This is why I got so mad at you before, Seiya. You say one thing and blatenly do the opposite (as per our private conversation)

Do whatever you want with this P.O.C. - I'm going back to work on DOSBase some more because I'd rather have a more accurate and complete gamebase (you can learn alot from the original Gamebase64).

I feel sorry for anyone who wastes their bandwidth and hard drive space downloading this. I'll be deleting off what little I've downloaded so far. Thanks for the headaches and you can keep the stool samples.
The thing is people will download in order to play the old DOS games in a gamebase format as they don't want to wait years on end for the full DOSbase, yes the final DOSbase will be good for completeness but Goldies at least gives people something to use in the meantime with most of the popular stuff in there.
How is the DOSbase coming along anyway and when do we get another update?
