MAME 169 Mini (best classics IMO ONLY)

Since several months I update compilation "MAME Mini". It contains selected roms from the most popular systems. Emulator, screenshots, samples attached, support for keyboard/1-2 x1/x360 pads set in global mode. As for now batch to configure controls - "_run.bat" and manual "instrukcja.txt" are Polish. With the next update I'll translate everything to English. Complete package is approx. 5GB big (artworks also attached but disabled for most of games).

Download:

Code: Select all

gamebase.pl
To decide whether You want it or not, download images from MAME Mini\Screenshots directory, because MEGA uses stupid scaling to preview images.

Greetings. I am looking for the latest Speccymania update that includes the latest WOS Updates. Is that a bit much to ask for?

Hope to see the update

Gamebase_core.exe updated several days ago.

New feature:
- "Current set" - it shows active configurations (Retro/Pleasure/Convenient/Simultaneous....) at start - useful if You often change display/control mode on several PC's (examples: 1 PC at home - with x1 joypads set, 1 PC at work - playing window mode with keyboard set) and don't remember which is active/don't want to wait until batches finish reconfigure. It automatically shows current set if You use mentioned. .exe after restart or through \_scripts\_run.bat

Fix:
- "to Wii or not to Wii ?" - as because Wii uses 3 .mdb's (one for specific control mode: keys/wiimotes+nunchuk/xbox one pads) always one .mdb file was active, even if You don't have GB Wii from my uploads, it showed GB Wii icon. I assumed everyone uses Wii - now it's the past. No matter if You have GB Wii or not, You won't loose any data with the newest Gamebase_core.exe :)

This is THE LAST update for Gamebase CDTV-CD32 from me.
I plan to clean-up this of Unofficials and other "shits",
especially when we have 99% of it in GB Amiga

Appreciate Your comment, Mark. I decided to NOT update CDTV-CD32, because all original CDTV/CD32 ISO's already available in GB since 2011, when Pancho/bagpipes released it. And since several years (except rare Oscar and Strip Poker also released) all updates was ONLY WHDLoad packages, "precompiled" to run on Amiga CD32, which in fact has nothing with CDTV/CD32, except ISO loader. There are no new real CDTV-CD32 games, only mixed compilations with games from Amiga 500-1200, which makes mess in this Gamebase. I think (I'm sure) it would be better to try to extend great GB Amiga v2.0 with EXACTLY the same WHDLoad games (if new released), insteat of adding it as compilations to CDTV-CD32.

For those, that interrested with update, visit this blog:

I used it to update till "30 March 2016" :)

Gamebase_core.exe changes:
- NES (Nestopia), Sega CD/Sega Megadrive/Sega Master System (Fusion): switched to dynamic paths.
- Amiga CDTV - CD32 remapped (all control modes)
- XPADDER profiles for X1/X360 pads reconfigured to more convenient mappings (35 systems)
- Controller' modes (Convenient/Simultaneous/Secure) re-tested and documented (80 systems).
- PS2 adapted to all Z.C.M. features

MAME Mini update*
- Updated to v172: MAMEUI/MAMEUIFX86-64, snaps, samples, mameinfo, history, hiscore (enabled), cheat, gameinit
- short manual and configuration batch in English now :P

* - it contains 500 selected games. Compilation for beginners, not collectors.
