Thanks. I noticed you don't have the game "The Smurfs" in this gamebase. I have the game and the title and screenshot if you want them. I don't have a manual or other extras though.

The Smurfs was not released on the Sega CD, only Mega CD, unless I am mistaken. There are a few other Mega CD games not included, not to mention all the Japanese exclusive games...

This is just US released games and protos.

Is there any Special way to put the zip files in the gamebase/segacd directory. I tried just putting the zip inside a games dir and when i tried to play it say s canonto find in path. I have the correct path setup...

From the torrent description...

Here is a quick setup guide
• Unzip "Sega CD.7z" and put into "GameBase" folder
• unzip "Photos.7z" and "Extras.7z" and put into "Sega CD"
• put "Sega CD USA Manuals" into "Extras" folder
• Get games, unzip and put into a folder and into "gamebase" folder

Are you talking about the game zips? All the games will need to be unzipped and put into one huge folder somewhere (Mine is on an external drive), you then just link gamebase to that folder for games.

It keeps saying I need to download a newer version of GameBase to run the database, i'm using V1.2, and V1.3beta, and neither will load it.

When someone is using a new 'beta' version of the gamebase frontend, I think it would be a nice courtesy to include it in the download. I got 'stung' with this with the sam coupe gamebase (and I also did not know about the dll registration 'problem' and the provided handy executable).

As an aside... any chance of this appearing somewhere other than UG?

I do not mind if someone wants to repost it elsewhere, but I have no plans to.
The whole Gamebase is over 65 GB. Even without games it is still over 1 GB.

I have tried UG recently, and as my account is stuffed and it recognises the public IP, I cannot use them. I leave the things I download as shared, just no-one seems to want to grab it?
I would be happy if I had this to share it via pleasuredome. I just don't have it.
