One of the sources used in our attempt at documenting all C64 games was the HVCD collection--one of the most popular collections of the time, unfortunatelly marred by a very high percentage of bad transfers/not working games. Every image had to be loaded and tested in multiple emulators, certainly a very time-consuming task.

I don't think that adding games in alphabetical order (like Alessio proposes above) is practical. HVCD is organised in disk images, having 601 newgames and 1039 oldgames (total 1640 disks!). It would be less time consuming and less confusing if we start to add on a disk-by-disk basis. We must first know how many of us have the HVCDs and then split the 1640 disks between us in order to cover the entire collection. If all 6 of us have the HVCD that would be...em....about 270 disk images for each of us.
