After
a long recess, at last a game was requested in the forum:
Sierra On-Line's Dragon's Keep. It has now been
added to the Rares Corner and is available for
download. (Actually, it should have been added last
weekend, but I forgot all about it! :)

Can
you code in PHP and MySQL?
Are you itching to join the GB64 team?
Do you want to help write the online database for the
new GB64 site?
There
have been many feature requests and bug reports for
the recently released GameBase frontend, which
unfortunately leaves James Burrows very little
time to code the new GB64 website. We're therefore looking
for one person who would like to take up the challenge.
No web design skills are necessary since the site is
to be template driven, but a good knowledge of PHP and
MySQL are essential, and James would ideally like to
see a sample of your work before taking you on board!
Experience with VB/Access would also be an advantage.
For
those interested, please email
James Burrows directly for more information.

"Could
this Defender-based game be the greatest shoot-em-up
of all time?"
With
this htmlized review we start Issue 3 (July 1985)
of Zzap!64. It took four months to htmlize all
Issue 2 reviews (issue 1 had taken six), so . . . our
pace quickens!
A
great thanks to Inge Pedersen for ripping the
tune to Flip and Flop which now has been added
to the relevant entry in our Top64
article. Also, all White Wizard pics in the adventure
reviews have been replaced by nicer ones.
A
HAPPY 2oo2 to all!

"Terrific
text-only adventure: many locations, superb atmosphere,
great puzzles"
"Things
have not been running smoothly this month, fellow adventurers,
and I must confess to not quite feeling myself. Something
to do with the vast number of hours spent in a Vogon
hold with a Babel fish in my ear. So, if you notice
a certain world-weariness in this month's chronicles,
please make allowance.
And do not despair -- the White Wizard will be back
to his usual eccentric and jovial self in the very near
future. For now, though, let us press on with this month's
gathering of bewildered souls . . ."
