Statement
from the GB64 Team
Unfortunately,
due to various circumstances, we have decided to pull
the GB64 collection from production. This means, in
plain English, that we will not be releasing it to the
public. The recent C64 copyright/trademark issues that
have plagued the scene over the past few weeks, the
lack of free time on our part, the lack of money on
our part for hosting and distribution, and certain impatient
people who have demoralised us so much, are the reasons
for us acting this way. We are saddened to have to act
this way, but we feel we have been forced to do so.
We'd like to apologise to all our loyal supporters over
the past few years. Maybe in the future we will be able
to release the GB64 collection to the public, finally.
To
RIP or not to RIP!
We'd also like to point out that the above paragraph
and the rumours that circulate about us never releasing
our work is utter and complete bullshit -- This was
just an evil trick to get back at those people who have
outwardly shown their impatience and bad tempers toward
us.
In
fact we're in the process of forming the GB64 Collection
CD, a process that is almost finished. You'd better
keep checking back here over the next few weeks, you
may be pleasantly surprised! :)
